Busy Bees...

Over here we have been busy...sadly this little blog is usually what suffers :( but we have so enjoyed the things that haven't fallen through the cracks...the cakes.

Birthday Girls....

3 Darlings all having birthdays within days of eachother, what is one to do? Mini cakes of course!

to recreate the monogram tops you will need:
*stencil *luster dust and a loose bristle brush *fondant
-place the stencil on the fondant that has been lightly dusted with powdered sugar to prevent sticking, lightly dab the design with water, brush on desired luster dust color, slowly peel back the stencil, repeat with desired letter or second design with contrasting color & voila-

Class act

It is a bit of a tradition in Kindergarten that when you have a birthday you bring treats for the class, or so I have been told :) so when this little lady requested cupcakes for the class we decided to go the mini route as so to spare the parents and nannies from a mid afternoon sugar rush at pick-up time. 2 bites is plenty when your six and sweet enough as it is. The little birthday girl also wanted solar system cupcakes for her official party.
