I love France and everything french. The architecture, the fashion, the literature, the art, the smell of the bread baking in the streets, and most of all...the pastries and of course The French Pastry School. So when the Saint-Jean's son Liam turned 1, I was more than a little excited to make this little cake...joyeux anniversaire petit prince.

Thanks again for the yummy cake. I love the pic of Liam's face while he's eating it. Give me the good stuff...he's drunk with birthday cake. He LOVES good food. Everyone at the party was like wow, its so light and fluffy and the filling with the strawberries and cream...my mouth is watering right now.
